Maxwell2–van der Waals
This is a noncubic EOS consisting of a soft-sphere repulsion (obtained by applying the Maxwell distribution method to a truncated Mie m/n potential) and a van der Waals attraction term.
The soft repulsion improves the represenation of caloric data at high pressures.
